Sol Yoga Studios is a yoga studio in La Jolla, CA specializing in Bikram inspired hot, Vinyasa, Iyengar, and Hatha yogas.

The Problem

Sol Yoga was a brand new business opening their doors and just had a brand new website originally written in static HTML by the web design team. Unfortunately, the design team was not experienced with web development which made the website difficult to update, update to maintain an consistent page-to-page experience, perform updates or maintenance. The website page hierarchy was not planned and was sending inconsistent signals to search engines.

The Solution

Converted to custom written template driven PHP system. This greatly simplified content updates and created a consistent page-to-page experience.

Performed keyword research. Updated the website content and architecture to maximize search engine exposure. Researched and created a link building campaign.

The page hierarchy was carefully planned to send clear messages to search engines for optimal search results.

We also implemented a carefully planned PPC campaign with ad copy that included regular A/B and multi-variant testing. Regular A/B and multi-variant testing was also performed on the landing pages to maximize conversion rates.

In 2015 the website was converted to run WordPress for easier content management.
