An interstate commission established to monitor the water quality of the Potomac River Basin.

The Problem

The website was previously being maintained by an internal employee who was not an experienced web professional. The result was inconsistent content presentation, keywords and content not being optimally utilized, page hierarchy was sending inconsistent messages to search engines.

The Solution

Implemented simplified content management tools that required minimal software knowledge to use.Over the life of this projects first Joomla and then WordPress were utilized. The CMS change was not recommended, but requested by the staff.

Researched and implemented an improved keyword strategy. Restructured content hierarchy for improved SEO.
