Pro bono for nonprofit group.
Strength Against Violence is a nonprofit group dedicated to assisting victims of domestic violence escape their situation.

The Problem

The previous website was built in static HTML and the webmaster was not a volunteer and not an experienced professional. Website structure was inconsistent from page to page.

The Solution

Converted static HTML website to run on a content management (Joomla) system to create a consistent experience from page to page. Added contact form, Resources, and Panic Button. This last feature enables the victim of violence to quickly escape the website and cover their tracks by automatically opening to a weather website and removing itself from the user’s browser history.
